It may be hard to believe, but way back in the 1970s many music fans actually PAID for bootleg recordings. For the most part sound quality was hit or miss - you paid your money and you took your chances. Some boots sounded pretty good, and others were absolutely horrible. No big deal though, it was all part of the fun of Collecting (or so we'd tell ourselves after discovering we'd wasted our money on some virtually unlistenable piece of garbage, often a double-LP). And there were some pretty cool covers along the way. Let's have a look at a few.........
