When I posted the TRIBE LP the other day (see here), I mentioned that "its one of the few Beatle oddities that I did NOT see posted anywhere on the internet in the past year". So now folks are asking what are some of the other "Beatle oddities" that I haven't seen on the internet.
Well, for instance, there's "Heart Play - Unfinished Dialogue", the JOHN LENNON and YOKO ONO "spoken word documentary". The 1983 Polydor LP has never been officially released on CD.
From the back cover:
"These conversations with John and Yoko took place in the late summer and the fall of 1980. The background noises set the scenes: early morning talks in the Lennons' kitchen with John running back and forth making tea; afternoon walks along Central Park West; late nights in the recording studio; evenings sitting at a sidewalk cafe in the rain. The recordings were made for a documentary on the Lennons and for the Playboy interview....."
