38 years ago today, THE BEATLES were filmed in EMI Studio 2 by Britain's National Music Council for a documentary called "Music!". They were recording rehearsals for the upcoming recording sessions (which would be held at Trident Studios, not EMI) for what would be their next single, "Hey Jude".
The documentary ended up with two Beatles segments, one of which is presented here as an avi file. Its about two-and-a-half minutes, 30 MB, great quality. Notice that in the rehearsal here, GEORGE HARRISON is in the control room with GEORGE MARTIN, while PAUL (piano), JOHN (acoustic guitar), and RINGO (drums) play. Very nice stuff.
