The Funny Pages, part 3

In August 1983, TOM BATIUK featured a week-long plot in his daily FUNKY WINKERBEAN comic strip in which the ROLLING STONES are coming to town. Seems like an odd thing to do, as the Stones certainly were not coming to town at the time, and the "Undercover" LP wasn't out yet.

I have six daily strips, I guess it wasn't continued in the Sunday paper, but I don't know for sure. MICK JAGGER shows up in a few of them. Here are the first two:
