June 6, 1968

On June 6, 1968, the BBC's KENNY EVERETT came to EMI Studios to interview THE BEATLES for "The Kenny Everett Show" on BBC Radio 1. The Beatles had just recently begun recording what would become "The White Album", and had been working on Ringo's "Don't Pass Me By".

This 14-minute "interview" contains a lot of clowning around, some silly singing (including John doing "Cottonfields"), and general nonsense. Its nice to hear the boys having fun. Most, but not all, of this recording was broadcast on BBC Radio 1 on June 9, 1968.
