Arthur Alexander

ARTHUR ALEXANDER's "come-back" album, his first album in 21 years, would also be his last. The wonderful "Lonely Just Like Me" was released shortly before his unexpected death in 1993.

Arthur had written and sung a handful of hits in the '60s. THE BEATLES covered his "Anna (Go To Him)" on their first LP, and THE ROLLING STONES covered his "You Better Move On".

"Lonely Just Like Me", produced by BEN VAUGHN, was a great CD full of Alexander originals, including a superb remake of his 1975 hit "Every Day I Have To Cry". Every one of the twelve songs is a gem.

The CD is, sadly, long out of print now, so here ya go:

01 IF ITS REALLY GOT TO BE THIS WAY
02 GO HOME GIRL
03 SALLY SUE BROWN
04 MR. JOHN
05 LONELY JUST LIKE ME
06 EVERY DAY I HAVE TO CRY
07 IN THE MIDDLE OF IT ALL
08 GENIE IN THE JUG
09 JOHNNY HEARTBREAK
10 ALL THE TIME
11 THERE IS A ROAD
12 I BELIEVE IN MIRACLES
